A man killed his younger brother by hitting him on the head with a club becuase he took away his mobile phone without his knowledge in Gujranwala on Saturday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to police officials, the incident took place in the Hasnain City area of Ludhiwala police station where elder brother Habibullah stabbed younger brother Umer to death just for taking his cell phone.

Umar took the phone outside the home and on returning home the fight between both started and Habibullah killed his brother by hitting him on the head with a stick.

The police took the body into custody and shifted it to the hospital for post-mortem.

Accused Habibullah escaped the scene while the police officials have started further investigation of the incident.
