Shah Rukh Khan opens up about his lifestyle with just four hours of sleep

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has shared details of his daily routine, giving fans a rare glimpse into his life.
In an interview with The Guardian, the 50-year-old actor while talking to the media, gave insights into his lifestyle and how he goes to sleep at 5 am but wakes up by 9 or 10 am. The actor said that after he reaches home from work at 2 am he works out before going to sleep.
SRK goes to sleep at 5 AM
The actor said, "I go to sleep at five in the morning. When Mark Wahlberg gets up, I go off to sleep. And then I wake up about nine or 10 if I’m shooting. But then I will come home at 2 am, take a bath, and then work out before I go to sleep.” SRK also eats only one meal in a day and that has nothing to do with intermittent fasting.
On his sabbatical
Talking about his hiatus at the age of 55, SRK said, "At the age of 55, I took a kind of sabbatical. During the pandemic, there was nothing else to do and I was telling everyone: to learn Italian cooking and work out. I was working out. I built a body. After four years, people started missing me because before that I was too much in everybody’s face," adding, "People said: ‘Will you do a film?’ I said: ‘Only if it’s an action film!’

The megastar also opened up about his five-year break from the film industry, his pandemic pastimes, and his upcoming film, King.
"At this age, I needed a long holiday from work to come back stronger," he explained.
"I was telling everyone to learn Italian dishes and exercise. I even managed to get in shape during the pandemic," he said with a hint of pride.
But the hiatus wasn’t just about self-improvement.
Khan acknowledged that stepping away from the limelight for four to five years is a significant stretch for a major star.
"My fans missed me, and it was their love that pulled me back into the world of films," he admitted.
On enjoying award ceremonies
Shah Rukh Khan also added how much he enjoys award ceremonies and added, "I enjoy it. I am very shameless about this! I love getting awards. I love the ceremony. I get a little nervous if I have to give speeches. Especially with international awards, because then I need to make sure Indian cinema
He also revealed that he eats only one meal a day.
Like many during the COVID-19 lockdown, the actor found himself with ample free time. He took the opportunity to focus on fitness and even dabbled in Italian cooking, encouraging others to do the same.
What Shah Rukh had said about King
He had said, "There are certain kinds of film that I want to do; maybe it's more age-centric, and I want to try something for 6-7 years. I've been thinking about it, and I mentioned it to Sujoy one day while we were sitting. He works with us at our office, he's made some films for us. He says, 'Sir, I have a subject'. The next film I am doing King, I have to start working on it, have to lose some weight, do some stretching." Reportedly, the film will also star Shah Rukh's daughter and actress Suhana Khan.
