A man along with his companions shot dead his close friend when they opened firing on a moving car on Hazara Motorway in Mansehra on Tuesday morning, then abducted his injured son and daughter who were also travelling with their father in the car, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Accused Shoaib targeted his friend Tariq Mahmood’s car with indiscriminate firing, killing him on the spot and injuring his son and daughter.

The police were able to trace the attackers and arrested them within hours of the incident and also recovered the 13-year-old injured girl.

The accused, however, did not spare his friend’s son Zain and also murdered him after abducting him.

DPO Shafiullah Gandapur said that the accused was a close friend of slain Tariq Mahmood. The accused first stopped his friend’s car and asked him to her daughter go with him which led a fist fight between the two friends, the DPO said.
