The second Test match between Pakistan and Bangladesh, initially scheduled to take place in Karachi, has been relocated to Rawalpindi.

According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, the first Test will begin on August 21, followed by the second Test on August 30.

The relocation was necessitated by ongoing construction work at Karachi's National Bank Stadium in preparation for the Champions Trophy.

The channel said this decision was made after consulting with construction experts and all relevant stakeholders.

While the Karachi Test was to be held without spectators, cricket fans will now have the opportunity to watch both Test matches live in Rawalpindi.

Meanwhile, the Pakistan Shaheens and Bangladesh A series will continue as planned in Islamabad.
