Sindh CM Syed Murad seeks report on marriages of juvenile girls

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has taken notice on the marriage of minor girls due to poverty in Dadu, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.

In this regard, the Sindh Chief Minister sought a report from the Commissioner Hyderabad on the marriage of 45 girls for money in Khan Muhammad Mulla Goth.

The Chief Minister directed that the social, economic and legal reasons for these girls should be explained in the report.

Syed Murad Ali Shah directed that form a committee and conduct a detailed inquiry in Goth and submit a report.

Sindh Chief Minister directed it should also be stated whether the married girls were from flood-affected families.

If the flood affected families were affected, how much aid was given to them?, Sindh Chief Minister asked.

What is the condition of married girls at present, give a report from every aspect so that it can be resolved, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah said.

The Chief Minister of Sindh also directed the Commissioner of Hyderabad to give his recommendations in the inquiry report.
