Two clerics held in Chakwal for sexually exploiting over dozen students

Two religious school teachers have been arrested for allegedly abusing their students sexually in Chakwal, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel.   

The offence came to light after one of the students of the madrasa complained his father about the teacher's sexual gestures and acts with students.

The local Sultan Nazar then approached the Sadar police station and told them that the madrasa teachers were allegedly involved in sodomising and sexually assaulting students studying in the madrasa.

The Sadar police station Chakwal promtly lodged a first information report (FIR) and arrested the accused identified as Zeshan and Anees for sexually abusing seminary students.  

In the FIR, Sultan stated that his son was studying in the madrassa. The clerics not only abused his 13-year-old son but also 13 other students, he stated.

The FIR lodged under 377 and other sections of PPC stated that a Sultan, a victim’s father claimed that two seminary teachers raped and assaulted over dozen students.

 Parents of 14 students, including one mother whose son was among the victims, raised serious concerns about the alleged misconduct perpetrated by individuals. 

The victims, aged between 12 and 14, reportedly endured traumatic experiences, with the suspects allegedly threatening them and making cuts at their bodies with sharp objects.

The police have succeeded in getting four days physical remand of the accused.
