Gorgeous and talented Pakistani actress Kubra Khan, who is very wise when choosing scripts, told the reason behind choosing Noor Jahan.

During her appearance on a tour of the UK for Palestine fundraising, she answered questions about her work and she shared what pushed her to sign for Noor Jahan which looked like a very common story.

Kubra revealed that initially when she was pitched the character, she also thought that Noor Jahan was a very typical show and not something that she would do but after reading the story, she knew that this script is not about saas-bahu toxicity but it talks about generational traumas and how Noor Bano was the one who finally changes these traumas.

This made her sign up as Noor Bano and she finally did Noor Jahan.

Kubra has always done unique stories that had a huge impact on the audiences.

Her notable dramas are, 'Ali Allah Aur Insan', 'Sang e Mah', 'Sang e Mar Mar' and 'Jannat Se Aagay'. She picked up these stories but she changed her trajectory when she picked up Noor Jahan which looked like a typical saas-bahu story.
