Over 100 schools in tehsil Pir Goth of Khairpur district were inundated on Monday after the River Indus burst its banks, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Not only that over 200 villages in the adjoining katcha area were also submerged.  

The schools, which were flooded included Primary School Shah Nawaz, School Nazir Bux, School Gul Hassan, School Hamid and others.

The Sindh government, on the other hand, has made no arrangements so that students could continue their studies in any other city.

The locals have demanded the government to make arrangements for the purpose.
