Pakistan exports to China down by 27.7% in June 2024

A big blow to Pakistani exports to China as Pakistani exports to China were down by 27.7 percent on annual basis in June, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.

According to sources, Pakistan's exports to China decreased by 2.1 percent in fiscal year 2023-24.

The volume of Pakistani exports for the last month of June was $150 million while Pakistani exports to China in June 2023 were $207 million, sources said.

Pakistani exports to China in fiscal year 2023-24 were $2.56 billion while in the fiscal year 2022-23, the volume of Pakistani exports to China was more than $2.61 billion, sources added.

On the other hand, imports from China increased by 65 percent on an annual basis in June 2024 while imports from China increased by 24 percent in financial year 2023-24, sources said.

In June 2024, imports from China were $1.5 billion while in the fiscal year 2023-24, the volume of imports from China was more than $14.51 billion, sources concluded.
