He said sensitive institutions have the data and photos of the speculators who were involved in manipulating the gold prices artificially.
He warned the gold market traders that there would be a crackdown on those who have been betting on the gold prices which have reached Rs2,30,000 per tola in Peshawar and Lahore.
He also said that he has assured the sensitive institutions that speculation on the gold prices will not be done in future so the government should open the import of it.
He said that the purpose of closing the gold market was to control the price of gold.
He also said that he may resign from the presidency because of the constant speculation in gold prices.
