Federal Minister for Interior Affairs Rana Sanaullah has said that political stability is imperative for national development, progress, and prosperity, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel.
Addressing a public gathering in Faisalabad on Monday, Rana Sanaullah reiterated that elections for the Punjab assembly will not take place on May 14. However, he pointed out that the general elections could be held in August.
He alleged the present inflation is the outcome of the deal made by the previous PTI government with the IMF on harsh conditions. However, the Interior Minister hoped that the government would overcome this situation soon.
The minister recalled that load shedding and terrorism were rampant in the county in 2013 but the then PML-N government overcame these menaces and put the country on the path of progress and prosperity.
The interior minister expressed the hope that “some relief could be passed to the public” following the IMF programme’s revival.
Taking a jibe at the PTI government, he blamed PTI of the recent wave of terrorism in the country.
Sanaullah alleged that ‘terrorists’ were invited to return as citizens by the PTI government. He further claimed that terrorism is not existing in Punjab.
Rana Sanaullah said Pakistan was making progress at a much faster pace when the PML-N government was eliminated under a deep-rooted conspiracy in 2018 and Imran Khan was imposed on the nation.
Rana Sanaullah said that the leaked audio conversation of Saqib Nisar has confirmed that he played with the judiciary to punish Mian Nawaz Sharif.
He said the audio leaks exposed the character of Saqib Nisar.
Sanaullah claimed that the PML-N Quaid was punished for not receiving a salary from his son’s factory. He added that Saqib Nisar and other people were allegedly involved in the ouster of Nawaz Sharif.
He vowed that PML-N Supermo will return country soon and lead the nation.
