Textile exports surged by 5% in Oct 2023 after 12 months decline

Textile exports surged after 12 consecutive months of decline on an annual basis as textile exports have recorded 5 per cent growth in October 2023, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.
According to the All Pakistan Textile Mills Association (APTMA), in October 2023, textile exports were $1.43 billion while in October 2022, the volume of textile exports was $1.36 billion.
In September 2023, the volume of textile exports was $1.36 billion
According to data textile exports fell by 16 percent in the 10 months of January to October 2023 as from January to October 2023, textile exports will be $13.34 billion
Whereas from January to October 2022, the volume of textile exports reached $15.88 billion.
