Electricity bills nonpayment lands Master Tile owner in lock-up

Police Monday arrested Master Tile Owner Sheikh Mahmood Iqbal on charges of electricity bill nonpayment, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported.

The Gujranwala Electric Power Company (GEPCO) officials said that Sheikh Mahmood Iqbal was the biggest defaulter as he owed Rs120 million.

He is accused of running two factories without clearing outstanding dues.

An FIR was filed against him as his cheques bounced.
