The CTD force has taken down five terrorists during a raid on a house in Basima area of district Washuk in Balochistan, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.

According to the spokesperson, the Counter-Terrorism Department police during an intelligence-base operation raided a house last night in which some terrorists were dwelling.

As soon as the CTD police surrounded the house, the terrorists opened fire at them. The police also retaliated. As a result, five militants were killed during the exchange of fire between them and the law personnel. However, three miscreants managed to flee under the cover of darkness.

The spokesperson said that the CTD recovered a huge quantity of arms from the house of the terrorists. They recovered submachine guns (SMGs), a suicide jacket, hand grenades, five rounds, magazines, and other articles like sleeping bags.

The police are combing the area in search of fleeing militants.

Yesterday, two brave sons of the nation including a Major and a Sepoy were martyred during an intelligence-based operation against terrorists in Miranshah, North Waziristan district.

According to the ISPR, a party of terrorists was spotted and intercepted by Major Amir Aziz, who was leading the operation from the front.

Resultantly, one terrorist was sent to hell while another was injured.

However, as a result of the heavy exchange of fire, two brave sons of the land, Major Amir Aziz (29) and Sepoy Muhammad Arif (27) embraced Shahadat while fighting gallantly.

The terrorist attacks have been increased in Pakistan after a peace deal with the Taliban ended last year in November.
