RISJA empowers members with mobile devices for capacity building

Rawalpindi Islamabad Sports Journalists Association (RISJA) Saturday announced a groundbreaking initiative aimed at enhancing the skills and capabilities of its dedicated members.

RISJA has distributed mobile devices to its members, marking a significant leap forward in its commitment to support and empower its journalistic community.

At the second phase of the mobile distribution ceremony at Pakistan Sports Board, President RISJA Mohisn Ijaz expressed his commitment to journalism’s growth and development in the region.

He said the distribution of mobile devices represents a crucial step in RISJA’s mission to equip its members with the tools needed to navigate the digital age effectively.

On this occasion, Secretary General Risja Kashif Abbasi said members now have the means to access specialized training, stay updated on industry trends, and enhance their reporting skills, ultimately bolstering the quality of journalism.

The General body was told at the occasion that RISJA leadership is taking the very next ambitious step – the initiation of a plot for all its members. It was told that initial discussions regarding this initiative are underway which will be announced in due course.

Senior Member RISJA & Former President Abbas Shabbir said RISJA remains dedicated to its mission of supporting and nurturing the journalistic community in Islamabad. The mobile distribution and the upcoming plot initiative are tangible expressions of RISJA’s commitment to the well-being and professional growth of its members.

This initiative is a testament to RISJA’s vision for the future of journalism and its unwavering dedication to its members.

Senior members Mohsin Ali, Ayaz Akbar Yousafzai, Asghar Ali Mubarak & Rana Tanveer Also addressed the occasion & commended the efforts of RISJA leadership for the flagship initiative.
