Bushra Bibi, wife of former prime minister Imran Khan, has been discharged in 12 cases related to the May 9 riots.

Bushra Bibi was nominated in the cases registered in Rawalpindi. The police had applied to summon and obtain physical remand in the court of ATC judge Malik Asif.

Talking to the media outside Adiala Jail, Bushra's lawyer Barrister Salman Safdar said after many days, a welcoming decision of the court has come

“Today's decision will surely positively impact the cases against the PTI founder.

He added that the prosecution had placed three statements before the court and the latter ruled that the statement of any co-accused had no status

The court has rejected the prosecution's evidence and discharged Bushra Bibi in all the cases,” he maintained.
