Five people died and 13 others injured when a passenger van plunged in a deep gorge in Battagram on Tuesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The driver lost control over the vehicle due to overspeeding.

The Rescue personnel shifted the dead bodies and the injured to a hospital.

Later, some of the wounded were transferred to Abbottabad for emergency treatment.
