Preparations for the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) senior leaders’ huddle in London to discuss the return of former prime minister and PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif to Pakistan have begun, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

Former prime minister has called the party’s leaders from across the country to the UK capital for the purpose.

Nawaz has also called the PML-N’s legal team to London.

Rana Mubashar Iqbal left for London today to meet the PML-N supremo, while former prime minister and Nawaz’s younger brother Shehbaz Sharif and other party leaders, including the party’s Lahore President Malik Saif Khokhar, are already there.

PML-N leaders, who are staying back in Pakistan, would attend the meeting via a video link.

Nawaz Sharif, who had gone to the UK a few years ago for his medical treatment and had promised to return in few months, is still living there.

And despite the fact that reports of his return are doing rounds on media ever since his brother Shehbaz Sharif took over in April 2022, he is still to come back, waiting for an opportune moment.
