According to sources, all players and officials have been instructed to report to a local hotel today before flying out from Lahore to Dubai in the next morning.

The national team will play two warm-up games before the official matches as part of their preparation for the tournament.

The first match will be held on September 28, where Pakistan will face Scotland, followed by a second warm-up match on September 30 against Bangladesh.

The Pakistan women’s team has been placed in Group A of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup.

Group A features a formidable lineup, including defending champions Australia, 2020 runners-up India, New Zealand, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka.

Meanwhile, Group B will see South Africa, England, 2016 champions West Indies, Bangladesh, and Scotland compete for a spot in the knockout stages. Other teams are India, Australia, New Zealand, and Sri Lanka in the group.

Pakistan’s first official match is scheduled for October 3, Thursday, where the team will take on Sri Lanka.

The much-anticipated second group-stage match will be a high-stakes encounter as Pakistan faces its traditional rival, India, on October 6, Sunday.
