The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (Nepra) on Wednesday increased the power tariff by Rs5.40 per unit under quarterly adjustment for the fourth quarter of the financial year 2022-23, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The Nepra will later issue a detailed decision in this regard, official sources said.

The increase will not be applicable to the lifeline and K-electric customers, they added.
