Zain Qureshi, son of former foreign minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi, was stopped by his uncle Mureed Hussain from performing the ‘ghusl’ of the shrine of Bahauddin Zakaria Multani, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.

Mureed Hussain expressed indignation over the ghusl of the shrine by Zain Qureshi before his arrival.

“Why did you perform ghusl of the shrine before my arrival? This is the grave of my grandfather,” Mureed Hussain questioned Zain Qureshi.

He also admonished those who took part in the ghusl ceremony.

“Don’t make the shrine fall victim to politics,” he said to them.
