Interior Minister Syed Mohsin Naqvi chaired a high-level meeting at Rahim Yar Khan airport and got a detailed briefing from Punjab Rangers, IG Punjab and Sindh police regarding dacoits attack on police van in the Kacha region last night, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Inspector General Police Punjab, DG Rangers Punjab, CTD Punjab and Sindh Police high officials briefed Interior Minister about the incident and operation against dacoits in the area.

During the meeting, Interior Minister stressed the need for security measures for the operational force in the Kacha area. He directed that the force who was involved in operation against the dacoits should be equipped with modern weapons and safety equipment.

Interior Minister order effective and coordinated operation against the dacoits. Mohsin Naqvi made it clear that all criminals and terrorists should be dealt with iron hands.

Mohsin Naqvi said the government will take all measures to take revenge on the attackers. He said the government will not sit down until security forces avenge the blood of their jawans.

Naqvi said a very sad incident took place as 12 of our brave jawans lost their lives. He directed that all necessary measures should be adopted to prevent such incidents in future.

Interior Minister also visited Sheikh Zayed Hospital in Rahim Yar Khan and inquired after injured police officials.
