PM Shehbaz Sharif set to visit China to discuss CPEC Phase-II

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is scheduled to visit China from June 4 to June 7, according to informed sources.

According to 24NewsHD TV channel, the visit will see Prime Minister Sharif accompanied by a high-level delegation, including several federal ministers.

During his visit, the Prime Minister is expected to engage in high-level meetings with Chinese President Xi Jinping, the Chinese Prime Minister, and other senior leaders.

Key topics on the agenda include discussions on the Main Line One (ML One) railway project, the second phase of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), and potential defence contracts.

Sources indicate that the visit aims to attract further Chinese investments and to strengthen bilateral relations between Pakistan and China.
