Pakistan women's skipper Nida Dar has been removed on Saturday from the captaincy following poor performance in Asia Cup, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

PCB Director International Cricket Usman Wahla told Nida Dar about the decision. "You are being removed from the captaincy. Fatima Sana will be the captain of the Pakistan women's team. You will be part of the national team," Wahla told Dar.

Fatima Sana is likely to be appointed as the skipper for Pakistan's women team for the forthcoming World Cup. The sources said PCB is expected to announce the new skipper of the women's team soon.
