The Sindh Education Department has unveiled a set of new guidelines targeted at freshly recruited teachers’ attendance and accountability, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Sunday.

The circular further stated that no leave to the newly appointed teachers recruited through IBA 2021, should be sanctioned by any authority during the probation period except following conditions, newly recruited teachers can avail casual leave not more than two days in a month.
Female teachers can avail of maternity leave after due verification of medical reports issued by a civil surgeon / medical superintendent of the civil hospital concerned.
Female teachers can also avail Iddat eaves after verification of death certificate and issuance of the obituary certificate of their husbands.
This move aims to ensure that teachers maintain a consistent presence in the classrooms, ultimately enhancing the quality of education imparted to students.
