Slovakian athletes Thursday got engaged at the end-line of a 35km race walk, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported.

According to American news agency CNN, Both Dominik Černý and his now fiancée Hana Burzalova represented their country in the race walking events for men and women at the World Athletics Championships in Budapest Hungary.

Both the races, of men and women took place simultaneously in which Černý finished 19^th whereas Hana stood at the 28^th position in the race walk. However, both of them felt happier than the winner as they had won at life.

When Burzalova crossed the line, she was shocked to find Černý on one knee holding a ring and asking for her hand in marriage.

Hana, exhausted and surprised, said yes while Černý, full of joy and happiness pumped a fist to the sky after slipping the ring onto the finger of his lover.
