In a significant operation based on a confidential tip-off, Khairpur police intercepted a vehicle loaded with weapons on the National Highway. 

According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, the police recovered 20 Kalashnikovs, 40 magazines, and over 300 rounds of ammunition from the vehicle. 

The channel reported that two suspects, identified as Faiz Muhammad, son of Banjari, and Irfan, son of Habibullah, were arrested during the operation. 

According to the SSP, the suspects were allegedly supplying arms from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to various districts in Sindh. 

He said the police acted swiftly after receiving information about the weapons-laden vehicle, leading to the successful seizure and arrests.
