Punjab's first air ambulance service is continuing its revolutionary journey in saving lives, with another successful mission executed under the directive of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif. 

According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, a severely injured police officer, wounded in an attack by bandits in the Kacha area, was airlifted from Sheikh Zayed Hospital in Rahim Yar Khan to the Punjab Institute of Neurosciences in Lahore for advanced treatment.

This life-saving transfer follows CM Maryam Nawaz Sharif's recent visit to Rahim Yar Khan, where she visited injured police officers at Sheikh Zayed Hospital. 

During her visit, she was briefed about the severely injured policeman, who was later stabilised and transferred to Lahore.

This marks another significant use of Punjab's air ambulance service, which began its life-saving missions on July 21st when it transported Halima Bibi, a woman who was critically injured after falling from a roof in Mianwali, to Rawalpindi.

This first-ever use of the air ambulance set the precedent for its continued service in emergencies across the province.
