Former Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah condoled with the heirs of martyred journalist Jan Muhammad Mehr at Chak’s ancestral home on Sunday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.

On the occasion, former Chief Minister talked to the media and said he came to Chak city along with the brothers and nephews of Shaheed Jan Muhammad Mehr to mourn the martyrdom of Jan Muhammad.

He said when this incident happened, I was the Chief Minister of Sindh and at that time we arrested about 18 or 19 people, including those who were named in the FIR and their facilitators.

He said that the real killers have been hunted down but the police have not caught them yet but I assured his brothers that I will talk to the caretaker Chief Minister to arrest and punish the killers of Jan Muhammad Mehr.

“Jan Muhammad Maher will not come back but justice must be done to him” he ensured.
