Wapda's defending champion Nasir Iqbal and Army's Zainab Khan won the 2nd Chief of the Naval Staff All Pakistan Squash Championship held at Pakistan Navy Roshan Khan Jahangir Khan Squash Complex in Karachi on Sunday.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the Pak Navy spokesperson said Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi was the chief guest of the closing ceremony who distributed prizes to the winners and runners-up of the championship.
Players from WAPDA, Army, Navy, KPK, Punjab and Sindh Squash Associations competed during the event in which a total of 54 matches were played.
The chief guest of the championship, Admiral Amjad Niazi and the Director also appreciated the players, officials, sponsors and Commander Karachi for their support and presence for this mega event.
The closing ceremony was attended by a large number of civil and military dignitaries, sponsors and senior squash players including legendary Squash player Jahangir Khan.
