Quack kills pregnant woman, abducts her child

A distressing incident unfolded in Sambrial city of Sialkot district where a quack allegedly killed a pregnant woman after administrating a wrong injection to her, removed her child, and abducted the same, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Monday.  

According to sources, a 38-year-old pregnant woman who used to visit a clinic of a quack for her routine check-up lost her life. 

On August 23,  during the routine check-up, the quack identified as Abdul Rahim allegedly injected her with the wrong injection.  

As a result of which, she died on the spot. However, he managed to save her baby before she breathed her last.  

Later, the quack  packed the body with the help of his wife into a steel box in order to hide his crime. The couple was issless and wanted to adopt the child.   

According to reports, the delivery of the pregnant woman was a few days away when the incident happened.

The police launched a search operation at the request of the deceased’s husband and held the quack and his wife with the help of CCTV.

The police also recovered a large steel box in a house situated in Merajpura in which they found the body of the woman.  

Later, the police also found dead body of the child in graveyard.  

The Police have arrested the accused and started searching for the missing child.
