The Special Customs Court in Lahore has granted bail to airhostess Asia Qurban who was arrested from the city’s airport for smuggling currency, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Special Judge Rai Yasin Shaheen on Wednesday issued a written decision to grant bail to the accused.

In its written decision, the court also referred to the High Court judgment of model Ayan Ali.

The court approved the bail of the air hostesses against Rs500,000 surety bonds.

The lawyer of the accused said that the air hostess has been performing her duty for 20 years.

The lawyer of the accused said that no criminal case has come up in the twenty-year career of air hostesses.

The lawyer of the accused said that the investigation of the accused has been completed.

In his arguments, the prosecutor said that the accused was caught red-hand with foreign currency from Lahore Airport.

According to the prosecutor, the CCTV footage of the accused is also available.
