Veteran politician and former PTI stalwart Jehangir Khan Tareen has once again got busy in making contacts with those political leaders who are deserting the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf in droves nowadays, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.

According to 24NewsHD, Jehangir Tareen has set up his camp in Lahore permanently and holding meetings with lots of politicians who have recently announced partying their ways with the PTI.

The Punjab sugar baron is trying to create a new political party of his own and is holding meetings in this regard.

Former MNA Ahmad Shah Ghagha from Pakpattan and ex-member of Punjab Assembly Saeed Akbar Niwani called on Tareen and discussed options to join new party.

PM Special Assistant Aon Chaudhry was also present on the occasion.

In his meetings with the former PTI leaders, JKT mulled over different names of the new party.

It is expected that in a couple of days, more PTI deserters will announce their decision to join forces with Tareen.
