KP cabinet approves new prosecutor positions to boost terrorism case prosecution
791 new police positions and 10 armored vehicles also approved to enhance security in KP

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) cabinet on Thursday approved 16 new prosecutor positions for the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) to ensure more effective prosecution of terrorism cases in the province.
According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, the KP cabinet meeting was chaired by Chief Minister Sardar Ali Amin Gandapur on Thursday.
Sources said that the cabinet also approved 791 new positions for the police in the districts of Tank and Lakki Marwat to strengthen the force’s capacity.
In addition, the cabinet sanctioned the procurement of 10 more armoured vehicles to bolster the security operations of the police.
The meeting was attended by members of the provincial cabinet, the Chief Secretary, Additional Chief Secretaries, and relevant administrative secretaries.
