National Assembly to convene tomorrow with 19-point agenda

The National Assembly of Pakistan is set to convene tomorrow at 10:30 AM, with a 19-point agenda on the table, reported 24NewsHD TV channel Thursday.
Key legislative items and reports will be discussed, including concerns about changes in water flow from 4.8 lakh acres of land designated for corporate farming.
The agenda includes several significant bills. The Minister of Foreign Affairs will present a bill to implement the Convention on the Abolition of the Legality of Foreign Documents.
The Defense Minister will introduce the Cannabis Control and Regulatory Authority Bill 2024 for legislation. Additionally, the Telecommunication Appellate Tribunal Bill 2024 and the Privatization Commission Amendment Bill 2024 will be introduced.
The Finance Minister is expected to present the Auditor General's report for the fiscal year 2023-24, along with the half-yearly report of the Board of Directors of the State Bank of Pakistan.
The Law Minister will submit the annual report of the National Commission for Child Rights 2023-24 and the Election Commission of Pakistan's Annual Report 2023 before the House.
Moreover, a notice to draw attention to individuals involved in defamation abroad will also be issued during the session.
