Celebrated Pakistani actor Imran Abbas is all set for his upcoming Punjabi film ‘Jee Ve Sohneya Jee’ with the Indian actress Simi Chahal.

The handsome Imran Abbas is going to debut another cross-border collaboration after eight successful years of his previous film ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ released in 2016.

The film's story revolves around an Indian girl and a Pakistani boy played by Abbas and Chahal respectively.

‘Jee Ve Sohneya Jee’ is a love story between the on-screen couple which after the trailer released on January 25, received acclaim from the public.

The movie is scheduled to be released on February 16.

Taking to his Instagram handle, the actor shared a picture of himself wearing a pink ‘Turban’ paired with a dashing blue coat and white dress shirt.

Sharing the photo he wrote a heartfelt note that reads:

“JEE VE SOHNEYA JEE holds great significance for me. It is more than just a movie. It is a sincere effort to bring two Punjabs and their people closer: It is a gift from me and my team to all those who believe in the power of love that transcends all boundaries.

Further, he wrote, “Love is the greatest blessing bestowed upon us by our creator, who made us all regardless of where we live or our origins.

Concluding the note he added, “Together, we can bring about change and put an end to the culture of hatred that has already caused immense harm to humanity. I urge you to watch JVSJ on February 16th and support not only love and peace but also the filmmakers advocating for this beautiful cause.”

Moreover, the actor also announced the release of the movie’s title song.
