Punjab CM Mohsin Sunday visited the Allama Iqbal town police station and suspended the Station House Officer (SHO) over complaints of delay in registration of FIR in Lahore.

According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, the complainants at the police station complained about the delay in filing the FIR. Mohsin Naqvi, taking strict notice and ordered suspension of the SHO.

CM Naqvi also reviewed the actions taken on the requests of the citizens at the front desk. He inquired the accused held in custody about the charges on them. He directed the authorities to release the youth held for driving without a license after the legal action.

The complainants at the police station complained about not getting FIRs filed despite their repeated visits and requests.

Mohsin Naqvi said that this is intolerable, and the FIRs should be filed at the earliest. He also summoned Iqbal town police station SP.
