Shamshad Akhtar assures review mission of meeting IMF deal needs

Finance Minister Dr Shamshad Akhtar has reiterated the Pak resolve to meet the International Monetary Fund (IMF) deal needs.

The minister reaffirmed the commitment at a meeting between Pakistani officials and the IMF mission led by Nathan Porter on Thursday.

She briefed the mission about the measures adopted to improve the economic situation of the country.

The moot mulled over economic reforms and the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) collection and strategies to resolve the circular debt issue.

The mission praised the government for achieving the quarterly targets and the implementation of the economic reform agenda.
