Former New Zealander legendary batter Brendon McCullum has been appointed as England’s white-ball head coach after the red-ball format, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

According to details, the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) had also extended McCullum’s contract till 2027. McCullum will spearhead England in the red and white-ball formats as the head coach from January 2025.

McCullum will coach England during the forthcoming white-ball assignments, including the England tour to India and the ICC Champions Trophy, slated to happen in Pakistan, next February.
