Chinese Prime Minister Li Qiang will visit Pakistan next month, diplomatic sources said on Tuesday.

The three-day tour will start on October 14, the sources said, adding several agreements are expected to be signed between the two countries during the visit.

PM Li will participate in the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation meeting for heads of government.

Pakistan is set to host the SCO moot on October 15 and 16. The event would be preceded by a ministerial meeting and several senior officials’ meetings focused on financial, economic, socio-cultural, and humanitarian cooperation among the SCO member states.
