Police in Faisalabad have recovered a ninth-grade student who was abducted by two men who demanded 30 million rupees ransom, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

Ayyan, a resident of Madinah Colony, was going to school along with his sisters on a motorcycle when unidentified car-riders snatched him in the street.

On CPO’s instruction, SSP Investigation Abdul Wahab led the police action and recovered the young boy within 12 hours and arrested his two abductors.

Ayyan’s family has announced rewards for the police team which recovered their loved one.

Murdered on resistance

A citizen was shot dead in the firing by dacoits within the limits of Ghulam Muhammadabad Police Station in Faisalabad.

Bilal was mugged in Rahmat Town. The victim was on his way to police station to lodge a complaint when he again spotted the dacoits.

Bilal raised alarm after which passersby got hold of the two dacoits. The criminals again tried to break off and during their struggle a citizen, identified as Zohaib, shot dead after he was hit in the heat.

Zohaib was rushed to a hospital but he could not survive. The dacoits, however, made their escape good.

The number of people killed offering resistance during a dacoity in Islamabad has now risen to 21 this year.
