Taking notice of the rape and murder of a five-year-old boy in Ali Pur Chattha area of Wazirabad, Punjab Chief Minister Syed Mohsin Naqvi on Monday sought a report from the police officials, reported 24NewsHD TV channel. 

On the order of the chief minister, the DC and the CPO reached the child’s home to assure his parents that soon justice would be done in the case.

Speaking on the occasion, the CPO said that pedophiles were a blot on society, and they deserved no mercy.

The culprits had killed Idrees by repeatedly hitting his head with bricks after subjecting him to sodomy.

The boy’s body was found three days later from bushes.
