LHC resumes hearings after summer break

The Lahore High Court has resumed its regular business following the conclusion of its summer vacation, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.  

As of today, the court has begun accepting all types of applications, signaling the start of a busy session ahead.

According to detail, a full bench of 20 judges, including Chief Justice Aalia Neelum, will preside over cases at the court's principal seat.

The distinguished panel of judges includes Justice Shujaat Ali Khan, Justice Abid Aziz Shaikh, Justice Shams Mahmood Mirza, Justice Syed Shahbaz Ali Rizvi, Justice Faisal Zaman Khan, Justice Masood Abid Naqvi, Justice Chaudhry Muhammad Iqbal, Justice Asjad Javed Gharal, Justice Tariq Saleem Sheikh, Justice Anwar-ul-Haq Pannu, Justice Farooq Haider, Justice Risal Hasan Syed, Justice Ahmad Nadeem Arshad, Justice Muhammad Tariq Nadeem, Justice Muhammad Amjad Rafique, Justice Abid Hussain Chatta, Justice Ali Zia Bajwa, Justice Sultan Tanveer Ahmed, and Justice Raheel Kamran.

In addition to individual benches, nine division benches will also hear various cases from Monday to Thursday, ensuring comprehensive coverage of the court’s docket.

Justice Ali Baqar Najafi and Justice Asim Hafeez are scheduled to preside over cases at the principal seat on September 6.
