Internet services were disrupted across the country on Wednesday, leaving many citizens struggling to stay connected, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The exact cause of the disruption has not yet been identified, as authorities are still assessing the situation.

Early reports suggest that the problem is most likely related to international traffic, rather than being limited to the local network.

Interestingly, Meta platforms, such as Facebook, WhatsApp, and Instagram, are working seamlessly despite the widespread disruption. This has provided some relief to users who rely on these platforms for communication and social interaction.

This disruption brings to mind a similar incident a few days ago, when social media platforms were partially disrupted and were accessible through VPNs.

Notably, X, formerly known as Twitter, remains blocked, forcing users to rely on VPNs for access.
