CM Buzdar launches ‘Khidmat aap ki dahleez par’ programme

Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar launched a welfare programme, ‘Khidmat aap ki dahleez par’ in Lahore on Monday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
CM Buzdar also launched the ‘Khidmat’ application at a ceremony held at the Chief Minister’s Office.
Later, addressing the function, the chief minister said under the programme people will have their basic needs fulfilled at their doorstep. “This is not only one programme, but a unique model of governance, which will benefit people of the province,” he said, and added the purpose of launching the programme was to make people feel that they were not alone, but the government was standing by them as well.
He further said that ‘Khidmat aap ki dahleez par’ would initially be for a three-week time period. “In the first week, streets, bazaars and localities will be cleaned and construction material lying on roadsides will be removed,” CM Buzdar said, and added in the second week, improving the facilities of provision as well as drainage of water would be focused upon. While in the third week, government offices, schools and other buildings would be painted.”
The chief minister said members of the civil society, locals and volunteers of the Tiger Force would be engaged in the programme.
