Zakir confesses to killing six years old Maham after rape in Karachi

A heartless accused Zakir Wednesday confessed before the court that he had killed six years old Maham after raping her.

According to the 24News HD TV channel, the Karachi police of the Korangi area produced the accused Zakir before the court of a judicial magistrate where he confessed his crime.

The accused testified before the magistrate that he killed the girl out of fear after raping her and threw her body in a garbage drum.

On his confession of the heinous crime, Judicial Magistrate Adil Nazir sent the accused Zakir to jail on judicial remand.

The dead body of little Maham who was just six was found on the Korangi Ghaus Park Road on Wednesday, July 28, 2021. Her parents were drowned in grief after seeing the lifeless body of their small daughter.

According to the initial post mortem report, it was revealed that Maham was raped. And her neck bone was broken after her rape.

MLO Dr Samia said that Maham was smothered to death. As the rapist was trying to smother her nose and mouth, Maham's neck bone was broken while trying to rescue her from their grip.

The doctor said she could tell how many people raped her after she got a report of the samples.
