Ex-SECP chairman Zafar Hijazi acquitted in Chaudhry Sugar Mills case

In an important development, a court in Islamabad on Saturday acquitted former Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) chairman Zafar Hijazi in the Chaudhry Sugar Mills (CSM) record tampering case, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Special Judge Central Shah Rukh Arjumand pronounced the verdict.

A case had been registered against Hijazi in July 2017.
