May 9 incidents: Police JIT records statement of Shah Mahmood Qureshi

Police members of the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) formed in Gujranwala for the May 9 incidents Saturday reached Adiala Jail to investigate PTI Vice Chairman Shah Mahmood Qureshi, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported.

The Gujranwala Police DSP Hameed Virk and Inspector Ziafat investigated the former foreign minister in Adiala Jail.

Qureshi was asked about his role and involvement in the May 9 incidents and recorded his statement.

The interrogation lasted for an hour and the Gujranwala Police left the Jail after getting the answers.
