District and Sessions Court Islamabad has accepted Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Alia Hamza's bail application till September 19 in a case registered under the provisions of cybercrime, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.

Alia Hamza appeared in the court of Additional Sessions Judge Afzal Majuka along with her lawyers.

The applicant’s lawyer said that there is an FIR against Alia Hamza from July, which is related to the tweets, and Alia Hamza was in jail when the retweet was made.

The court accepted Alia Hamza's bail application till September 19 against Rs10000 surety bonds.

Aliya Hamza assured the court that she would appear in Faisalabad, then Lahore and Sargodha in the morning and come to Islamabad.

The court accepted Aliya Hamza's request, and the bail hearing was adjourned till September 19.
