Islamabad court issues non-bailable arrest warrant of CM Gandapur

District and Session Court Islamabad has issued a non-bailable arrest warrant for Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur in an arms and liquor recovery case, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on

The court also rejected Ali Amin Gandapur's request for exemption from attendance on physical grounds.

The court orders SHO Bhara Kahu to arrest and produce Ali Amin Gandapur before the court tomorrow.

It is pertinent to mention here that on July 02, 2024, an anti-terrorism court in Islamabad also issued a non-bailable arrest warrant for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur for not appearing in the court.

The court had rejected Gandapur’s application seeking exemption from appearance.

ATC Judge Tahir Abbas Sipra on Tuesday issued the written order about Monday’s hearing, observing that Ali Amin Gandapur did not attend any hearing after April 2024.

A case of ransacking the ECP office after the PTI founder had been declared disqualified was lodged by the Commission against Ali Amin Gandapur.
